By: Surfside Feb 14, 2020

Love is in the air, and Surfside is feeling cupid’s arrow. Whether you’re celebrating a new love or honoring a long-time partnership, Surfside has a little something to fete every romantic stage. This year, the holiday also marks the start of a long three-day weekend as it coincides with President’s Day Weekend and the Miami International Boat Show. While purchasing a yacht and naming it after your significant other is a grand gesture we certainly applaud, there are a variety of ways to celebrate your #SurfsideLove this Valentine’s Day that doesn’t require a multi-million-dollar price tag.

First Year Valentine

The excitement of a newfound relationship means that butterflies are probably still fresh for the first Valentine’s Day together. You cannot go wrong with the tried-and-true combination of flowers and chocolates.

Pick out the perfect floral arrangement from Amoris Flowers. The flower studio does custom styling for each order so they are one of a kind, just like the person receiving them. Brighten Valentine’s Day with flowers for less, the shop is offering either 10% off your order or free delivery within the Surfside area if you follow them on Instagram

Newlyweds

Whether newly engaged or just married, the first Valentine’s Day after these milestones is always a monumental one. Make sure to memorialize this occasion with a token of love that will endure for years to come – just like your vows.

Start with a token of love from Miami Gift. The boutique offers everything from women’s apparel, accessories for him and her, to home goods like candles and handmade soaps. For Valentine’s shoppers, they will be featuring a 30% discount on all Brosway Italia jewelry.

Whether sitting inside or al fresco, this seaside restaurant will set the mood with a glass of prosecco, heart-shaped macaroon, and a long-stemmed rose for every lady in the restaurant that night. Their menu for the evening will be $75 per person. The views, however, are priceless.

Together Forever

For the couple that has been together forever, or maybe just feels like it, a romantic night out is the golden ticket. Reignite the flame at one of Surfside’s most romantic and historic settings – The Four Seasons Hotel at the Surf Club. Pair the clinking of champagne glasses with a thoughtful memento to mark the occasion.

Visit Surfside’s new silversmith, Pampaloni, that just opened next to Josh’s Deli only a few short weeks ago. This third-generation company – originally from Florence, Italy – features beautiful Italian sterling silver objects that will sure to be heirloom pieces for generations to come. Even better, they’ll be featuring a discounted selection of Valentine’s Day pieces including heart-shaped cufflinks, custom candlesticks, and more.

Don your most elegant attire for a night at the Four Seasons Hotel at the Surf Club, where both restaurants will be offering specially curated dinners for the occasion. At Le Sirenuse, the San Valentino menu by Chef Antonio Mermolia includes four courses of Italian fare: Antipasti appetizers, Primi handmade pastas, Secondi entrees, and Dolci dessert for $250 per person. Another option is to indulge in the famous continental cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Thomas Keller at The Surf Club Restaurant. The decadent Valentine’s Day menu starts off with vintage Dom Perignon 2006 and Regiis Ova Caviar, followed by two more courses to share, a choice of main, sides for the table and ends with dessert for $325 per person.
