Friday

3:00 pm | Arrive & Check-In

There are several places to stay around town that fit any budget and taste, from the boutique Sun Harbour Hotel to the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside or the newly-opened, luxurious Four Seasons at The Surf Club.

4:00 pm | Walk on the Beach

After check-in at the hotel, head to the beach path for an afternoon stroll. Here, you’ll find the most peaceful mile of pristine beach, beautiful clear water and the perfect setting to relax into the weekend.

5:30 pm | Drinks at the Grand Beach Rooftop Bar

Before dinner, head to the rooftop at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside for beautiful sunset views and a toast to the weekend. The adults-only Sky Bar is one of Surfside’s hidden gems, serving great martinis.

8:00 pm | Dinner on the Town

Surfside has an array of culturally diverse restaurants to pick from for a romantic night on the town. For authentic Italian head to Cafe Ragazzi. It has a long wine list, delicious pasta and low-lighting, perfect for long gazes across the table.

Surprise Your Loved One with Dessert from Gourmet Temptations

No romantic weekend is complete without chocolates and dessert! Surprise your loved one with a selection of macarons from French pastry shop Gourmet Temptations. If you really want to try something extraordinary, order the Tout Choco tart. It is French chocolate heaven!

Saturday

9:00 am | Yoga on the Beach

Start your Saturday with a sunrise yoga session on the beach. After your sun salutations, cool off with a refreshing dip in the sea.

10:30 am | Late Breakfast at Cafe Vert

Enjoy breakfast al fresco at Cafe Vert. A local haven, this kosher cafe is known for its delicious breakfast offerings - heaping piles of French toast or a savory crepe of smoked salmon and spinach are popular choices.

12:00 pm | Rooftop Pool Time

Raise those Vitamin D levels and reserve a private cabana at any of Surfside’s three rooftop pools at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, Grand Beach Hotel Surfside West, or the Residence Inn Surfside, each offering full service dining and drink menus.

3:00 pm | Couples Massage at the Spa at The Four Seasons at The Surf Club

The Spa at The Four Seasons at The Surf Club is a destination for serene pampering. Book a couple’s massage – the private cabana suite affords absolute privacy with direct ocean views – and enjoy some time in the marble Hammam beforehand to warm your muscles.

7:30 pm | Dinner at La Sirenuse

La Sirenuse at The Surf Club is one of the most romantic restaurants in town. The Italian outpost is fine dining at its best, with stunning ocean views and elegant interiors by Joseph Dirand. The impeccable service and genuine flavors of the Amalfi Coast are sure to sweep your love off their feet.

9:00 pm | Drinks at the Champagne Bar

After dinner head to the Champagne Bar at the Surf Club for a decadent nightcap. Alongside Miami’s largest selection of fine champagnes, the bar’s signature cocktails pay homage to The Surf Club’s gilded past, when celebrities like Winston Churchill and Elizabeth Taylor would relax and play at the property. We recommend ordering the “Frank Sinatra,” a delightful mix of Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne, Beefeater Gin, Lemon, Cucumber Juice, and Mint.

10:00 am | Brunch at Josh’s Deli

Start Sunday with brunch at Josh’s Deli. Blending Jewish diner classics with modern flavors, this cozy popular spot has an adventurous menu that will satisfy all tastes. If you’re in the mood to try something new, order the spicy tuna latkes. The dish is a perfect balance of old meets new blending crisp latkes with sashimi-style slices of tuna, topped with bits of Nori and a spicy mayo.

Noon | Shopping Downtown

Surfside is home to a walkable downtown district with distinctive world-class shopping. There is something for everyone, so stroll through downtown and browse for a new pair of sunglasses at Oberle, beach accessories at Le Beau Maroc or some unique gifts at Her Royal Household.

2:00 pm | Sweet Treats at Serendipity Creamery

End your weekend with a sweet treat from Serendipity Creamery & Yogurt Cafe on Harding Avenue. They offer all the classics and then some – seasonal flavors include Arnold Palmer, Orange Marmalade and Pear Riesling Sorbet – and everything is made from scratch with organic ingredients. There’s no better way to end a blissful weekend of romance!
